Get in touchThe European Coffees is a curated shop for coffee from independent European roasters. We don’t roast and we don’t hold stock. We choose coffees we believe in, write about the places they come from, and sell each one under its roaster’s name, at its roaster’s price.
Most customers will come for the subscription. They choose a taste (bright and fruity, balanced and sweet, or rich and chocolatey), and every month we choose a coffee for each of them from every roaster on the shop. A box like that can’t be price-compared with your own shop, so it doesn’t compete with you. It brings you customers who would not have found you, with orders spread across the month.
Under your name, at your own shop price. We taste it, give it one of our three styles, and write about where it comes from.
Someone buys your bag in the shop, or the subscription picks your coffee for a subscriber whose taste it fits.
From your roastery, in your own bag, with the packing slip we send you. You add the tracking number through the link that comes with the order.
As soon as the tracking number is in, Stripe pays you for the order, minus our commission. Payouts are in euros, whatever currency the customer paid in.
You stay the seller: you invoice the customer and handle your own VAT, as you do in your own shop. Our commission is 15% of the coffee price, and we take nothing from postage.
Two worked examples. The bag price and postage are only examples: on a real order they are your own price and your own postage.

A customer buys one €14 bag of your coffee. Your postage is €4.50.

The subscriber pays us a fixed monthly price. When we pick your coffee for a box, you are paid the same as for a shop order: your price − 15%, plus your postage.
The box comes in two plans: Explorer holds 1 bag and Connoisseur holds 2 bags, always from one roaster. You are paid for every bag in the box at your own price − 15%, with one postage for the parcel.
We only pick a coffee for the box when its payout plus postage fits our monthly box budget, so some higher-priced coffees are sold in the shop only.
Either way, Stripe pays you automatically once you enter the tracking number.
You roast and post from inside the EU, so a parcel to our customers never waits at customs.
Customers follow their coffee from your door to theirs. An order nobody can trace is one nobody can help with.
Name, weight, origin, storage advice and your address, as they are on your bag. Customers see them before they buy, and you stand behind them.
Tell us the day a coffee sells out. Nobody is sold it, and no subscriber is matched with it.
We have no warehouse. Your coffee leaves your roastery once, addressed to the person who will drink it.
Keep selling in your own shop, to cafés, anywhere you like. You choose which coffees to list with us.
Each order comes with a single link where you enter the tracking number. Your payments sit in your own Stripe account.
No monthly fee, no setup fee, and nothing to pay until something sells. Card-payment costs are ours, not yours.
Tell us who you are and which coffees you would list. We set up a short call to agree postage across the EU and how you keep stock up to date, then send you the roaster terms in writing before anything is signed.
